Standard tolerances (typical)
±0.05-0.10 mm for most commercial applications depending on material shrinkage. Exact tolerances confirmed at quote stage.
Reference commercial tolerances
ABS/PC ±0.10 mm; PP/PE ±0.125-0.170 mm; PA ±0.075-0.160 mm (DIN 16901 guidelines).
High‑precision capability
Select suppliers support ± 0.10 -0.25 mm , with tighter tolerances achieved using post-machining and/or confirmed after their own DFM review. Full GD&T callouts supported. Tighter tolerances available with enhanced process control and cavity pressure monitoring.
Surface finish capability
Standard molded finish SPI B-3 (Ra 3.2 μm) or better. High-polish finishes down to SPI A-1 (Ra 0.05 μm) available. Post-processing includes painting, pad printing, laser marking, textures (MT, Yick Sang), plating, molded-in color, and additives.

Typical part sizes up to ~500 × 500 mm; larger structural parts up to ~1000 × 1000 × 500 mm supported. Part weight from <1 g to ~5 kg depending on machine tonnage (14-1000T)

Molding features
Ribs, bosses, snap-fits, living hinges, vents, internal threads, undercuts with side-actions or collapsible cores. Tight radii down to ~0.2 mm feasible on suitable designs.
Wall thickness guidance
Typical range 1.0-4.0 mm; thinner sections ≥0.5 mm and thick sections >6 mm reviewed case-by-case by factory.
Dimensional verification & QC
ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 certified suppliers. Options include SPC, dimensional reports, AS9102 FAI, PPAP Levels 1-5, CMM/3D scanning, cavity pressure monitoring, and third-party inspection.
Production lead time (typical)
Mold fabrication: 3-4 weeks (prototype aluminum molds), 6-10 weeks (production steel molds). Production molding: 1-3 weeks after mold approval depending on volume and complexity.
