Ruling investment casting in or out, among the several metal casting methods available, should come before comparing any factory at all.
Ask whether the order volume can absorb a wax pattern die at all; investment casting tooling doesn't pay for itself below a certain volume threshold, and a foundry that quotes without asking about volume first is skipping a step it shouldn't skip. Most investment casting orders that go wrong didn't fail because the foundry lacked the skill.
