Carbon Steel Welded Motor Mounting Base

This cage-style structure, featuring upper and lower flanges supported by dual columns, is designed to provide rigid mounting and precise alignment for servo motors, gear reducers, or drive shafts. Commonly used in non-standard automated production lines, robot joint modules, and precision tooling fixtures, it ensures coaxial stability during power transmission through top and bottom through-holes for shaft passage or bolt fastening.

The manufacturing process involves laser cutting of carbon steel plates, followed by face milling of the flanges and boring of inner holes using vertical machining centers. The columns are then securely connected to the flanges via gas-shielded welding. Key processing focuses on controlling the parallelism of the upper and lower mounting surfaces and the coaxiality of the center holes to eliminate assembly stress. Weld seams are ground to remove spatter and sharp edges, ensuring a clean appearance and optimal adhesion for subsequent surface treatments.
