Automotive Interior Trim Assembly

Designed to meet the soft-touch requirements for automotive cabin areas such as armrests, pillars, and door panels, this series of components utilizes a composite process combining a rigid skeleton with a surface soft material. The structure consists of an injection-molded or blow-molded base skeleton, with a skin layer applied via vacuum forming or compression molding. Some components feature distinct stitching or texture designs to enhance the visual quality and seating comfort of the interior trim.

The manufacturing process strictly controls the bonding tightness between the skeleton and the skin, as well as the flatness of edge wrapping, to prevent delamination, wrinkling, or bulging during long-term use. For irregular parts with complex curved surfaces, contour tolerance is verified using methods such as 3D scanning to ensure that gaps and flushness with surrounding trim meet OEM assembly standards. Additionally, the skin materials are rigorously controlled for light aging resistance, wear resistance, and low VOC emissions to comply with automotive-grade environmental and safety requirements.

Supported by the IATF 16949 quality management system, our factory is equipped with precision injection molding machines, 3D blow molding machines, and specialized equipment for odor and weatherability testing. We possess full-process capabilities from concurrent engineering and mold manufacturing to covering assembly. We offer combination solutions using various base materials (PP, ABS, PC/ABS) and skin materials (PVC, TPO, genuine leather). We support structural optimization and cost evaluation based on customer 3D data models to ensure dimensional stability and appearance consistency in environments with significant temperature variations.
