The structure consists of an external thread for actuation, a hexagonal drive section for torque application, and a slotted cylindrical body that expands or contracts to secure workpieces or internal bores.

Production focuses on maintaining strict concentricity between the threaded shank and the expansion head, as well as precise slot width control to ensure uniform deformation. The hexagonal flats are machined to standard wrench sizes for reliable tool engagement, while the outer diameter tolerances are held tight to guarantee consistent fit within mating holes during assembly.

Leveraging high-precision CNC lathes and secondary milling operations, we manage the complex geometry of the split sections without burr formation. Our facility utilizes CMMs and height gauges to verify critical dimensions such as thread pitch, slot symmetry, and overall length. Quotes are determined by material specification, batch volume, and any required surface treatments like passivation or anodizing.
