Cutting (shearing/laser cutting): first cut the plate according to the design drawing to obtain the basic shape.
Shear: suitable for batch of simple shapes (such as rectangular plates), high efficiency and low cost;
Laser cutting: high precision (error ± 0.1mm), can cut complex shapes (such as heat dissipation holes, special-shaped installation positions), suitable for high precision and customization requirements.
Stamping forming: punching, stretching, flanging and other processing of the plate through the mold to make the key structure:
Punching: processing heat dissipation holes (louver holes, round holes, square holes), mounting holes (screw holes, positioning holes), wiring holes;
Flanging: "Flanging" is carried out on the hole position or edge (such as the installation position of nut column) to improve the strength and thread bite stability;
Stretching: Make local concave or convex structure (such as equipment handle, anti-slip lines).
Bending: Use a bending machine to bend the plate into a required angle (such as 90 cabinet frame and U-shaped chassis body), and key control "bending accuracy" (to avoid excessive gaps) and "rebound compensation" (metal will rebound slightly after bending, and errors need to be reserved in advance).
Welding: splicing and welding multiple sheet metal parts after bending to form a complete frame or shell. Common process:
Spot welding: suitable for thin plate splicing, with small welding spots, small deformation and neat appearance;
Argon arc welding: suitable for welding stainless steel and aluminum alloy, with firm weld and good sealing (such as waterproof welding of outdoor cabinets);
Note: After welding, it is necessary to grind the weld to avoid sharp edges from scratching equipment or personnel.
Surface treatment: The core purpose is to prevent rust, corrosion and improve the appearance. Choose according to the material and scene:
Cold rolled steel plate: phosphating → electrostatic spraying (the most mainstream, color can be customized, good rust resistance), electrophoretic paint (stronger corrosion resistance);
Stainless steel: pickling passivation (remove welding oxide skin, improve corrosion resistance), wire drawing (good appearance and texture);
Galvanized sheet: can be used directly (no spraying), or spray as required to enhance protection.
Assembly: Install accessories (such as door locks, hinges, guide rails, fans, dust nets, terminal blocks) to complete the finished product.
