As the core structural support for the automotive dashboard air conditioning system, this component is manufactured via one-piece injection molding of engineering plastics. The main body features an irregular polygonal frame structure, with a large trapezoidal mesh ribbed area in the center that serves both airflow guidance and visual shielding purposes, while enhancing overall rigidity through dense cross-ribs. Multiple cylindrical mounting shaft holes and positioning bosses are arranged around the perimeter to securely support fork mechanisms, adjustment knobs, and wiring harness connectors, ensuring precise assembly of interior trim parts and electrical isolation.

The side walls of the part feature asymmetric reinforcing ribs and local thin-wall transition zones, along with various irregular grooves. This design, characterized by significant variations in wall thickness, imposes high requirements on mold runner balance and pressure-holding cooling processes. During production, strict control of melt flow is essential to prevent surface sink marks, warpage, or stress cracking caused by uneven shrinkage. Simultaneously, we ensure the coaxiality of hole positions on the mounting ears and the tolerance of snap-fit gaps to guarantee smooth docking and reliable locking during final assembly.
