About Galvanized Metal-Bonded Rubber Vibration Damper

The component features a rigid skeleton composed of a central threaded rod and circular flanges on both sides, with a black elastic layer containing a regular array of holes encasing the central cylinder. This design, which tightly bonds metal and rubber, is commonly used for automation equipment bases, motor mounts, or precision instrument brackets. It aims to absorb high-frequency vibrations and shock energy through the deformation of the external elastomer, while the internal metal core provides stable mechanical support and connection strength.

The core of manufacturing such composite parts lies in controlling the quality of the metal surface treatment and the interfacial bonding strength during rubber vulcanization. The metal parts undergo electro-galvanizing to enhance rust resistance, ensuring a uniform coating without exposed base material. The rubber parts are molded using a flat vulcanizing press, with strict control over the demolding integrity of the dense side-wall holes and edge flash to prevent damage to small features.
