About Gas Appliance Connecting Rod and Burner Stamping Assembly

This kit includes a metal connecting rod with a ball-end and mounting holes, along with a matching toothed ring and hollowed-out base plate, featuring a high-gloss metallic finish. This structure is commonly found in the valve control mechanisms or burner support systems of gas stoves. The connecting rod connects via pins to achieve angle adjustment and force transmission, while the toothed component at the bottom is typically used for fixation or anti-slip positioning.

The manufacturing process involves multiple stamping operations. Specifically, the spherical bulge at the end of the connecting rod and the deep cavity structure of the base plate place high demands on sheet metal drawing performance and mold design. Strict control of wall thickness reduction is required to prevent cracking. The elongated grooves on the sides and the distribution of multiple holes require smooth, burr-free sheared edges. Additionally, the symmetry of each hole relative to the central axis must meet assembly requirements to ensure smooth operation and avoid motion interference.

Our factory is equipped with 16T to 125T mechanical and pneumatic presses, combined with shearing, drilling, and polishing equipment, enabling integrated production from blanking and deep drawing to surface finishing. For such appearance-critical parts, we use vibratory tumbling machines to remove sharp edges and enhance surface smoothness, complemented by salt spray testing to verify corrosion resistance. Please provide detailed drawings when purchasing to confirm material grades (such as stainless steel or carbon steel) and key fitting dimension tolerances, allowing us to accurately assess mold development costs and lead times.

Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend 304 or 410 stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance. We use vibratory tumbling machines to remove sharp edges and improve smoothness, complemented by salt spray testing to verify corrosion resistance. Please provide drawings to confirm the specific grade so we can assess mold development costs and lead times, ensuring the parts meet the assembly requirements for kitchen and bath hardware.
