Meat Grinder Head Assembly

Designed to meet the transmission and grinding requirements of kitchen appliances and food processing equipment, this component features a long cylindrical body, a top funnel inlet, and an internal auger core with spiral blades. This structure is commonly found in household or commercial manual/electric meat grinders. Driven by a rotating handle or motor, the spiral auger pushes ingredients from the funnel and extrudes them against the front blade for chopping. The overall design balances stable force transmission with hygiene and safety for food-contact surfaces.

The core of manufacturing this part lies in controlling the clearance between the spiral blades and the body's inner cavity to ensure smooth propulsion without jamming. The straightness of the long shaft system and the coaxiality of the front mounting position directly affect transmission efficiency and sealing performance, preventing material leakage or accelerated wear due to deviations. The deep-drawing process for the funnel ensures uniform wall thickness and a smooth inner wall to avoid food residue. All edges and welds undergo deburring and fine polishing to eliminate sharp edges and hygiene dead zones, resulting in a high-gloss metallic finish that meets food-grade appearance and cleaning standards.

Leveraging our manufacturing experience in hardware and electronic components, we utilize 16T to 125T tonnage presses with precision molds for sheet metal blanking, deep drawing, and trimming. Bench drills are used for precision machining of shaft holes to ensure diameter tolerances. Equipped with vibratory tumbler machines and polishing machines, we optimize surface finish, while strict inspection of key dimensions is conducted using dial calipers and height gauges. For procurement, please provide detailed drawings specifying material grades (e.g., 304 stainless steel, aluminum alloy, or food-grade carbon steel), surface treatment standards, and key mating tolerances to facilitate mold planning and lead time assessment.
