For this project we establish material, surface finish, and tolerance/datum checkpoints before release. Send a detailed drawing with key tolerances and datum structure when you request a quotation. When you send a reference sample, highlight any areas that control contact pressure or insertion feel. Pricing is most sensitive to material grade, plating system, and annual volume commitment. Lead time is driven by tool complexity, strip layout, and required inspection depth.
