About Precision Progressive Die Lower Plate Assembly

Please provide 2D/3D drawings including cavity profiles, guide post hole positions, and insert installation dimensions for process evaluation and quotation. As the base reference for the lower die shoe in progressive stamping molds, this component features multiple precision-fit irregular slots and locating pin holes on its surface. It provides a stable support platform for blanking or forming operations and ensures precise alignment of the upper die assembly during high-speed reciprocating motion, directly determining the dimensional stability of the final stamped parts.

The core challenge in manufacturing such multi-hole templates with complex internal cavity structures lies in controlling the positional tolerance between installation holes and the flatness of the cavity surface to prevent interference or poor fit during assembly. For asymmetric irregular slots and micro pin holes, high-precision slow wire EDM is used for contour shaping, combined with optical grinding to ensure end-face flatness and perpendicularity. This effectively eliminates machining stress and extends mold service life.

Supported by dual IATF16949 and ISO9001 certification systems, our production line is equipped with slow wire EDM machines from brands like Sodick and Mitsubishi, as well as Wangpan surface grinders, capable of processing high-hardness materials such as tool steel, alloy steel, and cemented carbide. We perform 100% inspection of key mating dimensions using Mitutoyo vision measuring systems and Hexagon CMMs to ensure batch-to-batch consistency. Quotations are evaluated based on specific drawing parameters, material grades, heat treatment hardness, and expected order volume.
