Precision Progressive Die Lower Plate

To ensure strip feed stability and forming accuracy during high-speed stamping, this lower plate integrates multiple sets of precision guide holes, pockets for irregular inserts, and ejector pin channels. The stepped counterbores and mating slots distributed across its surface provide rigid support for the upper die assembly and ensure precise alignment, directly determining the dimensional consistency of continuous stamped parts and the overall die life.

The core challenge in manufacturing such multi-hole plates with complex internal cavity structures lies in controlling the positional tolerance between installation holes and the flatness of the cavity surfaces to prevent interference or poor fit during assembly. For asymmetrical irregular slots and micro pin holes on the plate, high-precision slow wire EDM is used for contour profiling, combined with optical grinding processes to guarantee the flatness and perpendicularity of the end faces, effectively eliminating machining stress.

Supported by dual IATF16949 and ISO9001 certification systems, our production line is equipped with slow wire EDM machines from brands like Sodick and Western, as well as Wangpan surface grinders, capable of processing high-hardness materials such as tool steel, alloy steel, and cemented carbide. We perform 100% inspection of key mating dimensions using Mitutoyo vision measuring systems and Hexagon CMMs to ensure batch-to-batch consistency. Quotations are evaluated based on specific 2D/3D drawings, material grades, heat treatment hardness, and expected order volume.
