Serving as the core support and positioning reference for progressive dies, this rectangular plate integrates multiple precision guide holes, pockets for irregular inserts, and stripper pin channels. Its structure provides rigid support and precise alignment for the upper die assembly during high-speed reciprocating motion, directly determining the dimensional stability of stamped parts and the service life of the mold.

The key to manufacturing such plates with complex internal cavities and multiple hole patterns lies in controlling the positional tolerance between installation holes and the flatness of cavity surfaces to prevent assembly interference or poor fit. For asymmetric slots and micro pin holes, high-precision slow wire EDM is used for contouring, combined with optical grinding to ensure end-face flatness and perpendicularity, effectively eliminating machining stress.
