Hybrid ceramic ball bearings use a combination of traditional Chrome steel rings precision matched with silicon nitride (ceramic) balls. In addition to being excellent electric insulators, hybrid bearings have a higher speed capability and will provide longer service life than all-steel bearings in most applications.
Model: Covers a variety of metric and imperial deep groove ball bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, angular contact bearings, plain bearings, outer spherical bearings. It can be provided in the form of open type, seal ring form and dust cover type.
Cage: nylon (NYLON), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), polyetheretherketone (PEEK), stainless steel, copper or full ball. According to the working conditions provided by customers, we can design and produce corresponding non-standard bearings.
Ceramic bearings
1. Ceramic Bearings have two types of ceramic bearing, hybrid ceramic bearing and full ceramic bearing.
2. The hybrid ceramic bearing has steel inner and outer rings with ceramic balls.
3. Ceramic Bearings, Si3N4 stands for the silicon nitride ceramic material and is black colored.
4. Ceramic Bearings, SiC stands for the silicon carbide material and is alsoblack colored.
5. Ceramic Bearings, ZrO2 stands for the zirconium dioxide, also known as zirconia or zirconium oxide, they are white colored, a ZrO2 ball looks exactly like a pearl.
6. The ceramic material is not stronger than steel, but ceramic bearing are lighter and have lower friction than steel, which makes ceramic bearing go faster with lower heat generated.
