Founded in August 1995, Shanghai Yuntian Joint Development Co., Ltd. originated as a subsidiary of Shanghai Xinjiang Machinery Factory under the Shanghai Academy of Spaceflight Technology (SAST), and was restructured into a private enterprise in 2006. Located in the Cangqiao Industrial Development Zone, Songjiang District, Shanghai, the company is recognized as a High-Tech Enterprise and a Specialized, Refined, Differential, and Innovative (SRDI) Enterprise of Shanghai. Operating from a 20,000-square-meter standard industrial plant, the company specializes in manufacturing various metal components and currently houses over 130 metal-cutting units, including 5-axis and 4-axis machining centers, gantry machining centers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). With a workforce of 150 employees, the technical team comprises high-caliber personnel such as senior engineers, engineers, senior technicians, and certified technicians. Through continuous talent integration, the company maintains a well-balanced team structure spanning senior, mid-level, and young professionals.
Since its inception, the company has provided supporting components for equipment across aerospace, marine, and tobacco sectors, demonstrating expertise in producing high-precision parts and large shell/casing structures, as well as capabilities in system assembly, integration, and testing. Through long-standing industry collaborations, the company has mastered advanced machining techniques and processing methods for titanium alloys, magnesium alloys, aluminum alloys, high-temperature superalloys, and carbon fiber materials.
Over the past decade, the company has built comprehensive UAV manufacturing capabilities, establishing a full industry chain coverage ranging from overall design and component manufacturing to final assembly, testing, and flight service support. Featuring high-altitude, high-speed, and high-maneuverability performance indicators, its UAV products offer clients diverse choices across multiple shapes, structures, power systems, and sizes. Through these programs, the company has accumulated extensive design experience, flight test data, and manufacturing expertise, forming a strong competitive edge.
