A protective enclosure designed for thermal management in high-power electronic devices, manufactured using an integrated die-casting process. The sides feature large-area, parallel heat dissipation fins that effectively enhance passive cooling efficiency by increasing surface area. The bottom includes wide flange mounting edges and multiple countersunk screw holes, facilitating secure installation on walls or racks.

This structure demands strict control over mold runner balance and cooling shrinkage to ensure no shrinkage defects at the fin roots and overall flatness that meets assembly sealing requirements. Tolerance control for hole diameter and position is critical to guarantee precise alignment with internal PCBs or thermal pads. For outdoor applications, surface treatments such as powder coating or anodizing are typically applied to enhance weather resistance and corrosion protection.
