As a critical sealing component in fluid transport or vacuum systems, this part achieves end-face closure of the pump housing or valve body and guides internal flow channels through the fit between the central deep cavity and the peripheral flange surface. The four-way distributed mounting lugs are equipped with through-holes for bolt locking, ensuring connection stability and air tightness under system operating pressure.
The interior of the part features complex irregular curved surfaces, with a shaft hole and positioning pin hole in the center, and leaf-like hollowed-out ribs distributed around the perimeter. This non-rotational symmetric structure imposes high requirements on tool path planning, requiring multi-axis linkage or multiple clamping strategies to ensure the profile and position accuracy of the inner cavity. The core of the machining process lies in controlling the perpendicularity between the central shaft hole and the mounting flange surface, as well as the positional accuracy of each mounting hole pattern, to prevent assembly interference or sealing failure caused by cumulative errors. Strict control of deburring processes is also required, especially for sharp edges in the inner cavity and hole openings, to avoid scratching mating parts or affecting hydrodynamic performance.
