Automotive Sensor Insert Molding Bracket

Designed to meet the fixation and connection needs of automotive electronic systems, this component is manufactured using black engineering plastic via insert molding. It features an elongated plate-like structure with circular mounting holes at both ends for bolt locking and positioning. The rectangular connector base on the left integrates a PIN embedment structure, serving as both mechanical support and an electrical connection carrier for sensors or electrical modules.

This thin-walled, long-span bracket has strict requirements for injection molding flatness, hole positioning, and PIN pin positionality. Key controls focus on minimizing warpage and ensuring the coaxiality of the mounting holes at both ends to prevent assembly-induced internal stress. The precision of PIN embedment and interface contour dimensions ensures smooth mating with wiring harness plugs, while the structural strength withstands vibrations and impacts during vehicle operation.

Leveraging a fleet of vertical and horizontal injection molding machines, our factory achieves high-quality insert molding production. We utilize slow-feed wire cutting and mirror-finish EDM to develop high-gloss, precision molds, reducing weld line defects. Throughout the process, we employ 2D video measuring instruments and CCD automatic inspection equipment to monitor PIN pin positions, mounting hole locations, interface fit dimensions, and surface defects. This ensures full compliance with dimensional stability and reliability delivery standards for automotive-grade components.
