Automotive Sensor Insert Molding Bracket

The black engineering plastic substrate features a long strip shape with circular through-holes at both ends for bolt locking and positioning. The left side integrates a rectangular connector structure with pre-embedded metal PINs serving as electrical connection carriers.

Such thin-walled, long-span brackets have strict requirements for injection molding flatness and PIN position accuracy. Warpage deformation must be strictly controlled to ensure the coaxiality of mounting holes at both ends, preventing assembly-induced internal stress. The embedding precision of PINs and interface contour dimensions must facilitate smooth mating with wiring harness plugs, while structural strength must withstand vehicle vibration and shock during operation.

Leveraging vertical and horizontal injection molding machines, we achieve high-quality insert molding. We develop high-gloss, precision molds using slow wire cutting and mirror EDM to minimize weld line defects. Utilizing 2D video measuring instruments and CCD automatic inspection equipment, we monitor PIN position, mounting hole locations, interface mating dimensions, and appearance defects throughout the process, meeting automotive standards for dimensional stability and reliability.
