About Precision Stamped Electronic Lead Frames

As a core conductive carrier in semiconductor packaging and power devices, this component is precision-formed from high-conductivity metal strips using continuous progressive dies. The structure includes a die pad for chip mounting and an array of outwardly extending pins. Specific bending and cutting processes create electrical connection terminals with standard spacing, ensuring stable current transmission and signal interaction within compact packaging spaces.

The manufacturing process strictly controls the lead frame's flatness, pin coplanarity, and die pad positioning to prevent offset or short-circuit risks during subsequent plastic encapsulation. For the irregular window openings and reinforcement rib structures shown, high-precision progressive dies are used to ensure consistent hole spacing tolerances. Simultaneously, burr height and perpendicularity of the stamped cross-sections are strictly controlled to avoid impacting the yield of automated die bonding and wire bonding processes.

Leveraging our mature precision hardware stamping production lines and IATF16949 quality management system, we provide one-stop services from mold development to mass production. The production process is equipped with inspection devices such as 2.5D video measuring systems to perform full or sampling inspections of key installation dimensions, ensuring high consistency between batches. We support non-standard customization based on drawings or samples. Materials include phosphor bronze, iron-nickel alloy (Alloy 42), or stainless steel. Surface treatments such as silver plating, nickel plating, or selective local plating can be configured according to operating conditions to meet the stringent requirements of the communications, automotive electronics, and consumer electronics industries.
