About Automotive Sensor Insert Molding Bracket

This black, elongated plate-shaped base features a rectangular connector structure extending vertically from one end. Manufactured via insert molding using engineering plastics, the component is formed as a single integrated unit. Circular mounting holes at both ends facilitate bolt locking and positioning, while metal PINs pre-embedded within the left-side connector serve as electrical contact carriers, providing both mechanical support and signal conductivity.

Such thin-walled, long-span brackets impose strict requirements on injection molding flatness and PIN positional accuracy. Rigorous control of warpage deformation is essential to maintain coaxiality between the mounting holes, thereby preventing assembly-induced internal stress. The embedding precision of the PINs and the interface profile dimensions must ensure smooth mating with wiring harness plugs, while the structural strength must withstand vibration and impact during vehicle operation.

Leveraging both vertical and horizontal injection molding machines, our factory implements precise insert molding production. We utilize slow-feed wire cutting and mirror-finish EDM to develop high-gloss, precision molds, minimizing weld line defects. Throughout the process, 2D video measuring systems and CCD automatic inspection equipment monitor PIN position, mounting hole alignment, interface fit dimensions, and surface defects. This ensures full compliance with automotive-grade standards for dimensional stability and reliability.
