This disc-style flange component is designed for automated rotary modules or precision transmission systems. It features a central keyed bore for torque transmission and axial positioning, large-diameter lightening holes and mounting threaded holes evenly distributed on the outer ring, and an open slot on the side for cable clearance or quick assembly/disassembly.
The core of the machining process lies in ensuring the positional tolerance between the central hole and the peripheral mounting hole pattern, as well as the symmetry of the keyway relative to the datum surface. To address reduced rigidity caused by extensive cutouts, we strictly control overall flatness and step perpendicularity through optimized clamping sequences and cutting parameters, preventing micro-deformation from stress release that could affect assembly accuracy.
