Designed to meet the stringent precision requirements of powertrain systems, this component features a multi-stage stepped structure with specific eccentric profiles for precise mechanical control. Its core characteristic is the coaxial alignment of the continuous helical working surface in the middle with the support journals at both ends. This asymmetric geometry is commonly found in internal combustion engine valve trains or intermittent motion assemblies in automation equipment, converting rotary motion into the reciprocating linear motion of push rods.

The key to manufacturing such irregular shaft components lies in ensuring the coaxiality of each shaft section and the profile accuracy of the cam lift curve, while balancing surface wear resistance with core toughness. During processing, strict control over dimensional tolerances and roughness after outer circle grinding is essential to prevent abnormal wear during high-speed operation. Alloy steels such as 40Cr and 20CrMnTi are typically selected, accompanied by quenching and tempering or carburizing processes to enhance surface hardness.

Taizhou Dingzhen Camshaft holds IATF16949 quality management system certification. Equipped with CNC cam grinders, CNC outer circle grinders, and a dedicated gear inspection center, we achieve integrated production from blank forging to precision grinding. The factory supports customized heat treatment and material selection based on drawings. We use pneumatic gauges and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to fully inspect key phase angles and runout, ensuring consistency in batch deliveries and meeting procurement standards for the automotive parts and garden machinery industries.
