Plastic Worm Wheel and Spur Gear Transmission Components

As a core reduction component in mechanical transmission systems, this assembly consists of a helical-toothed worm wheel and a spur gear with an outer flange. These parts are commonly used in power transmission for electric tools, home appliances, and office automation equipment. By meshing different tooth profiles, they achieve torque amplification and speed regulation, meeting the requirements for smooth operation and low noise.

The manufacturing challenges lie in maintaining the continuity of the helical tooth surface and controlling the perpendicularity of the bottom flange positioning surface. Strict control of injection molding shrinkage is required to prevent excessive cumulative pitch errors. The fit clearance between the inner bore and the shaft system directly affects post-assembly coaxiality; therefore, mold cavity finish and cooling channel layout are precisely calculated to ensure dimensional consistency and interchangeability in mass production.

Our factory is equipped with MAKINO slow wire cutting machines and mirror-finish EDM machines, ensuring high-precision machining of complex gear molds. Combined with 68 all-Japanese electric high-speed injection molding machines, we effectively reduce flash and improve surface quality. Backed by ISO9001 and IATF16949 quality systems, we perform 100% inspection of key tooth positions and bore diameters using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). We accept high-standard custom orders for industries such as communications, automotive modification, and instrumentation.
